Network Messenger 1.0
Network Messenger Released - 3/28/06

Network Messenger is a program I wrote that provides a GUI to the popular 'net send' Windows function. Instead of going into a command prompt, and typing the entire 'net send' string, you can use this program, which does that for you plus a lot more.

What is net send? Well, if you've had to ask this, then this program will probably be very beneficial to you. Net send is a god, at least if you're on some large school/work network ;). The definition of 'net send' from Wikipedia:
NET SEND refers to the command option of the MS-DOS "NET" command that sends messages to other users, computers by name or ip address on the network. The command file "NET.EXE" is available on MS-DOS and Windows.
In other words, it sends a message to another computer, that looks like this:

Network Messenger is 100% free, and open source. I wrote it to give me a tool to save messages (canned message feature) and recipients (recent recipients list feature) along with the ability to hide from sight (stealth mode) all so I could net send people at school :). This little program is awesome when you put it on a USB drive, which gives you maximum net send portability 8).

However, there is one downside to the program. You must have the Microsoft .NET framework installed. You can get it here: .NET Framework 2.0

If you notice, every time you send a message, a black terminal window appears. DO NOT close that window! It will close itself when the message is sent. In the future there will be no black window. But bear with me for now.

Future Plans
